Was anyone else effected by the power cut in Staines and Egham on 27 December? Absolute nightmare! Power went off just before 9am and didn't come back on till after 9.30pm!!

    No! I didn't hear about it. But is it an annual thing? Seem to think there were big power cuts in town after Christmas last year too...

    Not sure what areas of Staines it affected but a lot of Egham was in darkness. Yes you're right, last year the shops in Staines had a massive power cut if memory serves me right. Shame we don't get a discount off the ever increasing electricity bills!
